Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, Jellycat combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful business during a growth phase, in which our DTC channels play a leading role, influencing the future direction of international trade for our proven brand. We are looking for a high calibre candidate who can actively manage our online payment channels, optimising processes and guarding against payment fraud attempts. This role will manage our payment streams across all of our websites globally. 

You'll be;

• Overseeing payment channel performance for completeness and timely receipts and acting on discrepancies with payment acquirers and IT
• Monitoring fraud analytics on payment channels and taking rapid and appropriate action to deal with issues arising or amend channel rules
• Providing analysis of payment fraud attempts to the Global Ecomm Director and Ecomm Business Partner and suggesting appropriate action based on company risk appetite
• Working closely with payment acquirers to develop an understanding of current and emerging issues with regard to payment methods and fraud attempts
• Working closely with the Global Head of Tax to ensure website taxes are fully accounted for and allocated correctly on payment
• Ensuring refund and chargeback processes are robust and have suitable authorization levels and response times in place
• Reviewing charges made for operating platforms for accuracy, ensuring they are fully accounted for and are appropriate, challenging providers where necessary
• Investigating options for new payment methods in existing markets to enhance customer service
• Developing methods to introduce recurring payment methods for subscription services
• Identifying and overseeing the launch of payment methods for website launches in new markets
• Maintaining digital financial records to Group standards
• Supporting the Finance teams in Jellycat locations with any ad-hoc requirements
• Supporting the development of the website through end-to-end testing of new processes for financial accuracy

You'll have;

• Previous experience of operating DTC payment channels
• A strong understanding of payment fraud matters and the ability to build tools to manage risk
• A good knowledge of Excel 
• An accountancy qualification (or working towards one) with a demonstrable background in financial control matters
• A great attention to detail and completion of issues
• The ability to prioritise and deal with fast-changing situations, providing clear analysis and the confidence to give solutions to management
• Clear communication skills, working with wider teams to review and manage payment solutions – Customer Service, IT, Ecommerce
• The confidence to communicate with multiple locations and external agencies
