Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, Jellycat combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage, grow and develop the brand throughout the independent retailers within the above geographical region.
You will be familiar with the region you are representing and be responsible for ensuring that we are in the right luxury accounts on the high street, towns, cities and shopping malls. Along with nurturing the existing stockist relationships, you will also be pro-active in identifying the new stockists and areas of opportunity that we are not yet maximising.
Your main focus is to be a Jellycat Ambassador who will not only grow the commercial value of the brand in your region but will ensure that you are proud of how we look in stores as we share joy with our consumers. Strong relationships will need to be built and nurtured to ensure we grow the business across our various product categories of Loveables, Amuseables, Baby Jellycat, Books and Accessories.
You'll be;
- Ensuring your territory is maintained with regular customer visits, developing strong, personable, professional relationships with all stockists
- Work with the marketing teams to ensure that we have Jellycat branded POS
- Mentor, motivate and guide your independent accounts to achieve the best in visual display, product selection and drive sales
- Launching, presenting and selling in all new collections annually, and keeping your accounts regularly updated
- Taking orders, and working with Credit Control to monitor your account credit status and are paying their invoices inside of the terms
- Working with your team leader to build a robust full year financial budget plans and develop and present the plan on how you and your teams will achieve the Budget/Forecast
- Regular sharing of images with the team of best-in-class visual merchandising within your account base
- Feedback sales performance sell-thru to business and partner cross functionally to ensure we provide design briefs for any potential new opportunities
- Pro-actively identify growth and brand awareness opportunities within partnerships to unlock our full retail opportunity – whether Baby Jellycat, Loveables, Amuseables, Books or Accessories
- Follow and be aware of your customer base online and SoMe activity ensuring they are operating withing the T&C’s and Brand Guidelines
- Present quarterly regional updates (financial and commercial) to line manager/Head of UK sales and the business
- Attending UK tradeshows
- Provide feedback where required to help support the business i.e. new product/collection feedback, customers and operational feedback
- Be a Jellycat Brand Ambassador always – exploring every LUXURY opportunity where we can raise Brand Awareness with our target consumers
- Travel occasionally to the London office as and when required
You'll have;
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a territory sales manager
- Proven residency on territory within Cumberland/Northumberland counties
- Ability to manage your time, and strategically plan your travel
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within a Luxury brand
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
- Passion for Jellycat, our characters and brand
