Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, Jellycat combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Sales Channel Planner to join our fast - growing Global Merchandising team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to optimize our sales channels according to product demand and availability, balancing demands across a broad customer base, with an awareness of consumer experience, whilst also driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and commercial awareness, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments with clear and precise communication skills, to key senior stakeholders. This is a brand new role to the business and will require initiative and flexibility during an exciting period of growth.
You'll be;
- Collaborating with the sales and finance planning teams to develop an accurate sales forecast by channel & by product.
- Assessing stock availability and production planning to determine allocation priorities between channels and customers.
- Monitoring sales performance against targets and provide insights for changes in outlook.
- Reviewing product range performance and availability and make appropriate adjustments to allocation strategies.
- Assisting in setting sales targets and budgets for various channels, working with senior sales team and FP&A.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of sales channels and customer groups.
- Utilising data analytics to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Preparing and presenting daily snapshots and weekly/ monthly detailed reports on channel performance to management for action.
You'll have;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with channel leads, production, operations and finance teams.
- Working closely with sales teams to agree sales and stock allocations for short and medium terms.
- Degree level education with good grounding in Maths/ Statistics.
- Experience in commercial analysis and decision making.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Skills in spreadsheet modelling and data analytics
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
