Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, Jellycat combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.
This role is DTC focused and sits within the global Digital Marketing function in the wider Ecommerce team.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to specifically manage Affiliates, Paid Social Media and the Affiliate channel. The ideal candidate will understand that these channels’ objectives are to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and DTC sales growth. This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and technologies.
You'll be;
Paid Social Media
- Developing, implementing, and managing paid social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and others
- Optimising campaigns to ensure maximum ROAS through considered audience targeting, A/B testing and performance analysis
- Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure alignment across campaigns, giving thought to global vs local customers
- Working closely and implement new processes with the creative team to produce compelling creatives and copy, staying on brand
- Developing robust reporting to monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports to stakeholders and making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
- Able to balance commercial and brand needs
- Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in social media advertising
Affiliate Channel
- Develop and implement a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy to drive sales and enhance brand visibility
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new affiliate partners to expand the program.
- Support Digital Marketing Exec to maintain and nurture relationships with existing affiliates, providing them with the necessary tools and support to optimise their performance
- Develop reporting to monitor affiliate activity, analyse performance metrics, and provide regular reports on program effectiveness.
- Propose commission structures and agreements with affiliates to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, ecom trade) to align affiliate marketing efforts with overall DTC business goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to ensure the affiliate program remains cutting-edge and competitive
- Manage the affiliate marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROAS and ROI
- Conduct regular performance reviews with AWIN and if needed, key partners to identify areas for improvement and implement actions
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to affiliate marketing
Digital Content Strategy
- Briefing our in-house and external creative teams to drive the production of engaging digital content including videos, images and other multimedia assets to be used across digital platforms
- Collaborating with the creative team to develop content calendars aligned with marketing objectives and seasonal campaigns both local and globally
- Ensuring all content is optimised for SEO and adheres to brand guidelines
- Working with online trade teams to ensure they have content that is up-to-date and engaging for the target audiences
You'll have;
- Minimum 5 years working experience in digital media field, preferably in retail
- In-depth knowledge of paid social media platforms, affiliate networks and content planning
- Experience with ad copywriting, targeting strategies, and campaign management
- Strong understanding of website analytics and conversion tracking
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
