Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, Jellycat combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.
The Export Shipping Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end process of EU & International shipments. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations, optimizing logistics processes, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and continuously improving operational efficiency.
This is a managerial role focused on overseeing and optimizing operations without direct staff management responsibilities.
You'll be;
- Coordinating and managing the export process, including documentation, customs clearance, transportation, delivery and proactively addressing potential delays to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with customs requirements.
- Liaising with internal departments and external partners to facilitate seamless operations.
- Taking ownership of the Reverse Logistics process
- Analysing logistics data to identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to optimize supply chain performance and reduce costs.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with carriers, and third-party logistics partners.
- Maintaining detailed records of shipments and ensure all data is processed and stored correctly.
- Preparing reports and presentations on key logistics metrics and performance indicators for the department.
You'll have;
- 3+ years experience in similar role, ideally working for a brand that manufacture and distribute their own product globally
- Experience managing road, sea and air shipments, including UK & EU customs procedures
- General awareness of end-to-end supply chain processes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
