The Human Resources Business Partner – Sales plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales function by providing strategic and operational HR advice to managers and employees. This position is responsible for delivering people solutions across a range of HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, talent management, compensation, and organizational development. The HRBP will partner with managers and leaders to drive HR initiatives, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and help foster a positive organizational culture.
You'll be:
Employee Relations:
- Serving as a key advisor to managers and employees on complex HR issues, offering guidance on conflict resolution and workplace concerns.
- Advising on managing disciplinary actions and performance management processes to ensure fair treatment and compliance with company policies and employment law.
- Mediating and resolving workplace disputes to maintain a positive and constructive work environment.
Performance Management:
- Coach managers on setting expectations, providing feedback, and conducting effective performance reviews.
- Supporting the creation and delivery of performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Advising on succession planning and development of high-potential talent.
Talent Management:
- Partnering with Talent Partners to ensure effective talent acquisition strategies are in place for assigned business areas.
- Supporting recruitment efforts by advising on job descriptions, interview processes, and selection methods.
- Collaborating on identifying skills gaps and supporting employee development and career growth.
Leadership Support
- Motivating and guiding leaders to achieve goals and develop their teams.
- Monitoring performance and providing constructive feedback.
- Mentoring team members and encouraging a culture of continuous learning.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Ensuring the business area complies with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices ensuring alignment with Jellycat guidelines.
- Assisting in the creation, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Staying updated on current HR legislation and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant.
Training and Development:
- Identifying training needs and collaborate with Learning & Development team to design and implement training programs that enhance employees' skills and knowledge.
- Supporting managers in developing their teams through coaching and mentoring
- In collaboration with the Learning and Development Manager, facilitating workshops and training on HR-related topics, such as performance management, diversity and inclusion, and workplace ethics.
Compensation and Benefits:
- In collaboration with the Head of People and the Talent Team, advising managers on compensation strategies, salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits to ensure equity and competitiveness in the marketplace.
- Supporting the development and implementation of employee benefit programs, ensuring they meet employee needs while aligning with business objectives.
- Analyzing compensation and benefits data to provide insights and recommendations on competitive and fair pay structures.
Organizational Development:
- Assisting in implementing organizational development strategies, including restructuring, job design, and workforce planning.
- Advising on change management processes to help the organization navigate through transitions or organizational changes.
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives by assessing satisfaction levels and recommending actionable improvements.
HR Systems and Reporting:
- Using HR data and analytics to provide actionable insights on employee trends, performance, turnover, and other key metrics.
- Generating and analyzing HR reports for leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Ad-Hoc HR Projects:
- Leading or participating in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes, enhancing employee experience, or supporting business objectives.
- Assisting in the development and execution of company-wide HR programs, such as employee recognition, well-being initiatives, or diversity and inclusion efforts.
You'll have:
- 8+ years of progressive HR generalist experience with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Proven expertise in managing complex employee relations matters with professionalism and care.
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization.
- In-depth understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality of work.
- High levels of integrity, sound judgement, and respect for confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
