The Quality and Operational Control Lead will oversee the quality control processes for shipments at Jellycat's Tennessee warehouse, ensuring all products meet company standards and compliance requirements. This role involves leading inspections, managing audits, and collaborating with warehouse teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality. The role will be the onsite representative for Jellycat for all operational controls.
You'll be:
- The onsite Jellycat operational lead overseeing processes, quality, and communication
- Leading the development and implementation of quality control processes to ensure product quality standards are met.
- Identifying, investigating, and resolving quality issues that may arise during the inbound process.
- Auditing DTC personalization to ensure customer quality meets expectations.
- Conducting detailed inspections of products and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure seamless communication
- Coordinating audits, both internal and external, and managing responses to any findings.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of any changes in industry requirements.
- Supporting the training of warehouse staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Providing detailed reports on quality performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyzing customer feedback and quality data to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with the operations team to enhance efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
You'll have:
- An associate's degree or equivalent experience in quality Control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a quality control or warehouse management role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide warehouse teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to conduct thorough product inspections.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and creating reports to communicate quality trends and areas for improvement.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to warehouse and product quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly address and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey quality expectations and collaborate across teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
