Senior Digital Designer
A great opportunity to join the team!
For a quarter of a century, the Jellycat family have brought joy, wonder and playful fun to people of all ages, in every part of the world. Utterly original and in a class of their own, they are currently among the most loved and collected toys of their kind. How has this gentle tribe endeared themselves to so many? Perhaps it is their whimsical expressions. Or the deliciously soft fabrics. Or the beautiful way in which they sit in your hand. Whatever it is, there is something magical and unmistakeable about each one of them.
This is an exciting role for someone who wants to be part of our expanding creative team as we continue to develop and refine our high-end digital output. The position sits within the Digital team, which forms a core part of the wider Creative department, offering the opportunity to contribute to impactful, brand-defining work across our key digital channels.
You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and copywriters to bring the Jellycat brand to life across digital platforms, helping shape engaging, joyful creative at every touchpoint.
This is a fast-paced role, and the successful candidate will need to manage multiple projects and ad-hoc requests with ease. You’ll be a collaborative team player who’s open to feedback, who contributes ideas with enthusiasm and someone who feels comfortable working independently ( managing your own time effectively).
You'll be;
Collaborating with the Creative and Marketing teams to translate brand direction and campaign concepts into clear, engaging digital design.
Designing and preparing assets for website, e-commerce, email marketing, and paid social channels.
Creating visually compelling email layouts that support messaging, drive engagement, and reflect the brand’s tone.
Developing digital advertising and paid social materials that capture attention and communicate key messages effectively.
Working closely with senior designers and copywriters and other departments to maintain consistency, quality, and timely delivery across all outputs.
Optimising assets for a wide range of platforms and formats, ensuring visuals are both beautiful and high-performing.
You'll have;
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Digital Design, UX/UI, or a related field.
8+ years of industry experience, ideally within an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, layout, typography, visual storytelling, and clear examples of web/e-commerce and digital campaign work.
High proficiency in Figma and strong capability with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Solid understanding of how design supports UI, customer journeys, and digital marketing objectives.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
A proactive approach, self-motivated and confident taking ownership from concept through to delivery.
Clear communication skills, comfortable presenting ideas and contributing to cross-functional discussions.
A passion for digital creativity, brand storytelling, and producing joyful, high-quality design that reflects Jellycat’s distinctive personality.
