Global FP&A Analyst - Wholesale & Marketing

The Global Wholesale & Marketing FP&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial performance across Jellycat’s global Wholesale and Marketing functions. Working closely with the Global Wholesale & Marketing Finance Business Partner, this role is responsible for owning and delivering core financial reporting, supporting planning processes, and ensuring accuracy and consistency of data across a fast-paced global business. The role operates in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift and no two days are the same, requiring someone comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting quickly. The successful candidate will be as comfortable working with non finance teams as they are their finance colleugues. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working with large datasets and navigating imperfect information, taking ownership to delivering outputs independently. The role focuses on delivering high-quality reporting and analysis across Wholesale and Marketing, supporting how performance is tracked and interpretedacross the business.
You'll be;
Owning and delivering monthly management reporting across Wholesale and Marketing, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and clearly structured.
Producing variance analysis vs budget, forecast, and prior year, highlighting key drivers and movements.
Supporting preparation of concise performance commentary to explain results and trends.
Maintaining core datasets, reporting files, and trackers to support consistent performance analysis.
Ensuring reporting outputs are aligned and consistent across different data sources.
Supporting analysis of wholesale performance across key drivers, including sales, margin, and trends.
Supporting budgeting and reforecasting processes across Wholesale and Marketing.
Assisting in consolidating inputs from regional teams, ensuring completeness and consistency.
Maintaining and updating financial models, including phasing, tracking files, and key assumptions.
Tracking performance against forecast, identifying and highlighting key risks and opportunities.
Supporting ongoing updates to assumptions based on latest trading and business inputs.
Supporting delivery of financial insights across both Wholesale and Marketing to aid decisionmaking.
Working with teams to improve understanding of performance drivers across channels.
Providing data and analysis to support business cases, performance reviews, and planning.
Contributing to post-investment reviews (e.g. PIRs), assessing performance and ROI.
Supporting full P&L analysis performance across Wholesale and Marketing.
Supporting month-end close by preparing and reviewing key data and reports across Wholesale and Marketing.
Reviewing invoices and underlying data to ensure accurate coding and alignment to budgets.
Working closely with marketing and other business teams to validate spend, resolve queries, and gather required information.
Liaising with Financial Control to investigate discrepancies and support corrections.
Assisting with posting journals, reclassifications, and adjustments where required.
Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data used for reporting and forecasting.
Maintaining and improve reporting processes, templates, and ways of working.
Identifing opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and simplify reporting.
Supporting ERP transition activities, including data validation and process updates.
Supporting ad hoc analysis requests and evolving business needs.
Assisting in preparing materials for internal reporting, reviews, and discussions
You'll have;
Newly or partly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or management accounting.
Comfortable working with data and financial models.
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
Good analytical capability and attention to detail.
Ability to structure and deliver outputs clearly and efficiently.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Behaviours.
Proactive and takes ownership of work from end to end.
Experience working with imperfect data, evolving processes, and ambiguity.
Curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
