As the Office Manager, you will play a central leadership role in creating a seamless, well-functioning, and engaging workplace environment in our Minneapolis office while providing oversight across North America. This role is responsible for leading office operations, enhancing employee experience, and managing a small team, including the Minneapolis Office Coordinator and the New York Office Manager.
You will ensure consistency in workplace standards, operational excellence, and employee experience across locations, while acting as a key partner to leadership and cross-functional teams.
This role is onsite 5 days a week.
You'll be:
Leadership and Team Management
Directly managing and developing the Minneapolis Office Coordinator and New York Office Manager
Providing coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing development support
Establishing clear priorities, workflows, and service standards across locations
Driving consistency in office operations, policies, and employee experience across offices
Partnering with HR on performance management, hiring, and team development initiatives
Office Operations & Facilities
Overseeing daily office operations to maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming environment
Leading vendor management, facilities coordination, and office services across locations
Maintaining office supplies, inventory, and purchasing to ensure a fully functional workspace
Coordinating office maintenance, repairs, and workspace standards
Managing office budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost efficiencies
Serving as the primary point of contact for all office-related inquiries and support
Partnering with internal and global teams to ensure alignment across offices
Building strong cross-functional relationships to support effective communication across the business
Ensuring appropriate delegation of administrative and front-of-house responsibilities to the Office Coordinator
Improving and overseeing office systems, processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and communication across locations
Workplace Experience & Culture
Leading strategy and execution of employee engagement initiatives, events, and in-office experiences
Coordinating catering, celebrations, and in-office experiences that reflect company culture
Supporting onboarding logistics to ensure a smooth and welcoming first-day experience
Helping foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative office environment aligned with company values
Ensuring a consistent, high-quality employee and visitor experience aligned with Jellycat brand standards
Health, Safety & Compliance
Overseeing health & safety programs, compliance processes, and workplace standards across locations
Partnering cross-functionally to ensure a safe, compliant, and well-maintained workplace
Ensuring documentation, training, and protocols are maintained and up to date
Coordination & Administration Support
Coordinating internal meetings, events, and large group logistics as needed
Supporting cross-functional collaboration by managing schedules, logistics, and communications
Leading or supporting special projects and operational initiatives to support business priorities
Handling general administrative tasks and office communications
Acting as the primary escalation point for office-related issues
You'll have:
5+ years of experience in office management, or a related role
Prior people management experience (required)
Experience overseeing multiple locations or distributed teams (strongly preferred)
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and facilities
Ability to operate strategically while executing tactically
High level of discretion, confidentiality, professionalism, and judgment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset, and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities
Experience supporting events, culture initiatives, and employee engagement programs
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, particularly with changing priorities.
A keen eye and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
A passion for delivering memorable experiences.
Ideally First Aid trained/ general health & safety awareness.
