As part of our ongoing business improvement focus, this role will be a proactive, strategic and hands-on leader of a business intelligence function driving positive behaviors in data based decision making throughout the business.
A business facing role, that will work primarily with finance, Commercial, Customer Service, Production and Operations, this role will develop relationships with key stakeholders, gather requirements, agree business priorities for development and be hands on with the build of each data product.
You'll be:
Owning, building and maintaining our BI stack.
Enabling data based decision makers in the business
Managing the company BI demand in an agile approach aligned to business priorities
Resourcing, managing and empowering a team of data specialists
Managing the key business stakeholders expectations through empowerment, engagement and education
Assisting in the development of product roadmaps
Managing, prioritizing, and assessing the impact of all work items, such as new features, defects and backlog items.
Educating and inspiring the business in the art of the possible with BI, reporting and dashboards
Running regular data and BI training sessions to new joiners and existing employees of Jellycat
Working within the project methodologies, budgets and deadlines set by the business
You'll have:
Senior level experience working with Power BI
Demonstratable experience of transforming a reporting function
1+ years leadership experience
Highly organized but flexible with excellent communication skills
Able to work to fixed deadlines and SLAs
Logically minded, likes to use data and evidence to support findings
Excellent trouble shooting skills
Able to work independently and under pressure from time to time
