Creative Coordinator (Mandarin Speaking)
[Insert pitch]
For a quarter of a century, the Jellycat family have brought joy, wonder and playful fun to people of all ages, in every part of the world. Utterly original and in a class of their own, they are currently among the most loved and collected toys of their kind. How has this gentle tribe endeared themselves to so many? Perhaps it is their whimsical expressions. Or the deliciously soft fabrics. Or the beautiful way in which they sit in your hand. Whatever it is, there is something magical and unmistakeable about each one of them.
We’re looking for a Creative Coordinator to support the day-to-day creative workflow for our China market. Reporting to our Creative Strategist, you’ll act as the key link between our China Marketing and eCommerce teams and our creative function, ensuring creative requests are translated into clear briefs, managed efficiently, and delivered on time. This is a fast-paced role for a fluent Mandarin speaker who enjoys bringing organisation, structure and momentum to creative projects.
You'll be;
Managing incoming creative requests from China Marketing and eCommerce teams and ensuring all requirements are clearly defined before work begins.
Converting business needs into well-structured creative briefs aligned to agreed priorities and direction.
Tracking projects from briefing through to final delivery, maintaining visibility of timelines, ownership and progress.
Coordinating the flow of assets between internal creative teams, agencies and market stakeholders.
Supporting localisation and transcreation of creative assets for the China market.
Reviewing completed assets against project requirements before distribution to stakeholders.
Maintaining organised asset libraries, shared drives and project documentation.
Providing regular project updates and proactively highlighting potential risks, bottlenecks or deadline pressures.
Supporting scheduling, meeting preparation and follow-up actions across China-focused creative activity.
Helping to improve and maintain workflows, trackers and briefing processes that enable efficient delivery
You'll have;
1–3 years’ experience in creative coordination, production, traffic management, studio administration or marketing support.
Fluent Mandarin language skills, both written and spoken.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different markets and time zones.
Experience using project or workflow management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Wrike or similar platforms. An understanding of social, digital or eCommerce content workflows.
Knowledge of localisation or transcreation processes between English and Mandarin.
Familiarity with Chinese social platforms and key retail moments would be beneficial.
Experience within toys, lifestyle, gifting or premium consumer brands would be advantageous
