Sales Coordinator - Montreal, QC

The Sales Coordinator, Canada, will focus on supporting the Canadian Sales team through order management, customer communication, and day-to-day sales administration. This person will build strong customer relationships, process and track orders, coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely shipments, and keep customer records up to date. They will also support sample requests, returns, credits, new customer accounts, warehouse queries, product launches, and general administrative needs across the sales function.
While this is a remote role, the candidate must be based within the greater Montreal, Quebec metro area to effectively support and service accounts throughout the territory. The candidate must also be bilingual, fluent in both French and English.
You'll be:
Customer & Sales Support
Building strong, positive relationships with customers and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Answering incoming sales calls and responding to internal and external communications.
Providing regular updates to customers on their order and backorder status.
Sending order confirmations and advising customers on stock availability.
Supporting the Sales team with other administrative tasks as required.
Order & Account Management
Entering orders and managing backorders for the North American Sales team, ensuring all orders are accurately inputted.
Checking stock availability and allocations across different warehouses and origins.
Working closely with internal teams to ensure orders are shipped accurately, on time, and according to customer requirements.
Liaising with Credit Control regarding customer payments.
Ensuring customer information is accurately updated and maintained in internal systems.
Raising credits and proformas.
Setting up new customer accounts.
Processing returns and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure returned orders are accurately received into the system.
Arranging collections where necessary.
Samples, Warehouse & Product Support
Managing sample requests from customers, agents, and Regional Sales Managers, checking availability across different warehouses.
Responding to general warehouse queries and resolving issues as needed.
Supporting product launches as required and sharing relevant information with retailers.
Team Support
Helping to train and guide new team members as required.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
You'll have:
Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal), required to effectively support customers.
2+ years of experience in a sales administration or customer support role.
Residence in Montreal, Quebec, within the territory you’ll be supporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when processing orders and coordinating shipments.
Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus, but not required as training will be provided.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
Experience building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

Compensation:
$75,000 - $85,000 CAD
