We are seeking an experienced Middleweight Digital Designer to deliver outstanding
creative assets and designs for our global websites and digital marketing channels
that are aligned with our brand. We have a focus on developing our presence online to
grow brand awareness but also committed to achieving our conversion and
commercial goals so you’ll have strong UX and CX at the core of all you do. The role
requires an understanding of digital graphic design, typography, visual hierarchy, and
user interface design. You need to have an clear understanding of layout, UX best
practices, design systems, accessibility and technical design understanding of our
platform capabilities.
The role will work within our global creative team be able to take guidance from
campaigns and existing assets to create on-brand premium digital experiences. You’ll
report to our Head of Creative and collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver
compelling and customer-centric designs and creative assets to elevate our brand
online. You will be interpreting and implementing the brand look, feel and vision
across all our digital real estate.
You’ll be delivering digital assets for our global websites and digital marketing
channels so localisation will be a consideration and you’ll work alongside a Digital
Copywriter to achieve the most relevant experiences. Digital marketing currently
covers paid media channels such as PPC, Programmatic, Affiliates, and Social
(multiple platforms) with new tech developments in these spaces regularly so an
interest in this is vital.
You'll be;
- Demonstrating experience in creating and evolving design systems, ensuring consistency across multiple platforms.
- Closely collaborating with the digital marketing and ecommerce team to contribute to planning and ensuring understanding campaigns and delivery milestones for these.
- Up to date on best digital UX practices for design and process to enhance output quality and therefore customer conversions.
- Able to maintain and update multiple websites ensuring brand consistency and best practice UX.
- Acting as a point of contact for critical stakeholders, managing end to end processes, providing updates on progress and managing feedback.
- Developing best in class email marketing templates to deliver different types of content to our customer base.
- Able to work on multiple projects, ensuring adherence to design standards and guidelines.
- Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design techniques to continually improve.
- Using your organisational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
- Using your ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
You'll have;
- A minimum 4 years’ experience as an Ecommerce Designer working with e-commerce websites and digital marketing channels.
- A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field.
- A proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- A understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and responsive
design principles. - An experience and understanding of our paid digital channels – PPC, Shopping, Social, Affiliates, Programmatic, Email..
- A good knowledge of best-in-class UX practices and UI design for ecommerce and
digital channels. - Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working for luxury brand or specifically within a digitally-driven environment.
- Familiarity with ad-serving technologies.
- An Experience working with Klaviyo (would be beneficial)
- An Understanding of retail and luxury markets (would be beneficial)
