We are looking for an experienced, commercial, personable and strategic Head of Sales, Northeast with a proven track record of managing a field sales team. You will be responsible for overseeing, growing, and developing a team of Regional Sales Managers of approximately 10.
As the Head of Sales, Northeast, you will be responsible for driving significant sales growth within your team of Regional Sales Managers. You’ll act as a brand ambassador for Jellycat, fostering strong relationships with existing retailers while identifying and securing new luxury business opportunities through a proactive hands-on approach. You are genuinely passionate about retail and enjoy customer-facing as Jellycat is consumer-centric in everything we do.

You'll be:
Leading and Developing a Team
Building, leading, and coaching a team of Regional Sales Managers, fostering a high-performance and results-oriented environment.
Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with regional and company-wide goals.
Motivating and inspiring the Regional Sales Managers to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Ensuring all accounts receive the best customer service from their Regional Sales Manager.
Building and implementing the best in-store Visual Merchandising practices with Regional Sales Managers, ensuring they are proficient and comfortable coaching retailers.
Setting Sales Strategy and Performance Targets
Setting clear and achievable sales targets for the Regional Sales Managers.
Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify sales opportunities and inform strategic decision-making for your region.
Analyzing sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Identifying and working with Regional Sales Managers to close accounts that are not in line with Jellycat expectations and standards.
Proactively identifying growth and brand awareness opportunities within partnerships to unlock our full retail opportunity.
Regularly joining Regional Sales Managers on field visits to ensure team members are delivering exceptional service and retailers have Jellycat POS branding that is aligned with Brand Guidelines.
Following and monitoring customer base online and on social media, ensuring they operate within T&Cs and Brand Guidelines.
Collaborating and Reporting
Forging strong partnerships with the Customer Service team as they are the daily contact for our Regional Sales Managers and Retailers
Developing strong, personable, professional relationships with Jellycat HQ/Sales teams
Working with the Head of Sales to build robust full-year financial budget plans and develop a plan on how teams will achieve the Budget/Forecast for your region
Working with Sales Planner to report on sales and stock as required and requested—data accuracy is paramount
Working closely with the credit control team to ensure compliance with validated financial risk and implement payment plans
Ensuring operations and logistics are working efficiently and effectively with customers.
Prepare and present thorough quarterly business reviews to Senior Leadership
Working with Marketing Director to collaborate and align on goals to meet retailer and marketplace needs
Working closely with Head of Sales to develop strategies for region including identifying accounts for Key Account potential
Ensuring RSMs are delivering excellent customer service to all accounts, and are visiting them regularly
Holds RSM team accountable for delivering superior support for key accounts
You'll have:
5+ years of senior sales management experience, preferably with luxury brands
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Strong leadership and coaching abilities
Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term goals
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Passion for the Jellycat brand and creating joyful experiences
Must reside in or be based within the managed region
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and able to multitask effectively
Creative thinker and decision-maker who seeks guidance when needed
Brand ambassador for Jellycat; not just a salesperson
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
Passionate about products and retail in a fast-paced environment
