As we continue to grow our footprint, we are looking for a Junior Account Manager to join our growing UK team to help support the growth of important house accounts,& support the unlocking of white space opportunites. Working closely with the Business Development Manager, Account Managers. The main focus of this role is supporting on the day to day communication & administration to grow the brand across the UK.
Our goal is to become the number one go-to leading soft toy brand for all ages globally. You will work incredibly closely and collaboratively with our Business Development Manager and Account Managers Sales as we embark on growing Jellycat.
There is a great ‘can-do’ team culture here at Jellycat, and it’s important that you are not only a self-starting ambassador and sales person for Jellycat but are a great team player willing to get involved in what needs to be done in order to achieve great things to support the global growth of the brand.
You'll be;
- Responsible for a portfolio of retailer accounts as the first point of contact for all general queries and determining who can internally resolve queries/find solutions.
- Keying orders onto our system accurately when receipted from account managers.
- Ensuring system data integrity (sku’s/qty/usd/dates) for the accounts you are responsible for.
- Liaising with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of all orders.
- Issuing accurate weekly Orderbook reports to the accounts/distributors you manage, resolving any issues that arise.
- Supporting the account managers and business development managers in the overall growth of the accounts and provide support wherever required to achieve the annual budgets.
- Answering incoming sales calls and responding to all communication internally & externally in a timely manner.
- Maintaining high levels of communication including weekly internal meetings, plus regular virtual meetings and range reviews with customers alongside the Business Development Manager, Account Manager & Head of ROW.
- Helping to train/guide new team members when required.
- Liaising with credit control on payments.
- Checking and maintaining customer data.
- Providing clear and regular updates to the Business Development Manager, Account Manager.
- Able to begin taking ownership, working independently, whilst also being good at taking direction.
- Managing back orders for international distributors & retailers, ensuring they are consolidated & able to ship.
- Checking stock availability & allocation across different warehouses & origins.
- Sending order confirmations & advising stock availability.
- Managing sample requests from customers, checking availability across different warehouses.
You'll have;
- Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years proven experience in an Account Executive/ Customer Service role.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint & SAP.
- Good communication & presenting skills.
- Strong at building & maintaining effective professional relationships at all levels internally & externally.
- A personable and positive mindset and approach.
- The ability to remain focused on maximising sales through professional relationships whilst understanding and respecting business limitation and brand guidelines.
- The ability to remain mindful of the Jellycat ‘tone’ and communication style associated with our brand.
