Team Lead - Regional Sales DACH
An exciting opportunity to join Jellycat!
For a quarter of a century, the Jellycat family have brought joy, wonder and playful fun to people of all ages, in every part of the world. Utterly original and in a class of their own, they are currently among the most loved and collected toys of their kind. How has this gentle tribe endeared themselves to so many? Perhaps it is their whimsical expressions. Or the deliciously soft fabrics. Or the beautiful way in which they sit in your hand. Whatever it is, there is something magical and unmistakeable about each one of them.
We are seeking a highly experienced, commercially driven Team Leadr to guide and inspire our DACH Regional Sales Team. This role is critical in expanding our independent stockist network, strengthening existing partnerships, and ensuring exceptional in-store brand execution across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
You will collaborate closely with the Country Manager DACH and European leadership to shape market strategies, lead seasonal launches, identify new luxury retail opportunities, and deliver on ambitious growth targets — all while safeguarding our premium brand positioning.
You'll be;
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Regional Sales Managers and a Sales Coordinator, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Planning and delivering inspiring seasonal collection presentations, equipping your team with product knowledge, sales techniques, and brand storytelling tools.
- Providing regular feedback, mentoring, and support to help team members achieve personal and professional growth.
- Ensuring consistent execution of visual merchandising standards and in-store displays in line with brand guidelines.
- Driving revenue growth across 400+ independent accounts, ensuring market coverage and sales optimisation.
- Identifying, targeting, and securing new luxury stockists in line with brand positioning.
- Building robust annual sales budgets, product forecasts, and action plans to achieve agreed targets.
- Developing creative strategies to sell through slower-moving designs without discounting or compromising brand equity.
- Cultivating long-term relationships with stockists, acting as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts.
- Partnering closely with customer service to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency for accounts.
- Conducting regular market visits to maintain strong ties with stockists, understand local opportunities, and support in-store excellence.
- Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity, industry trends, and consumer behaviour, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Overseeing accurate sales reporting, stock analysis, and forecasting to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Working with logistics to streamline operations and resolve any supply chain challenges.
- Collaborating with credit control to manage financial risk, implement payment plans, and maintain healthy account status.
- Presenting and develop in-store branding opportunities, including pop-ups, SIS concepts, and window takeovers.
You'll have;
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in building and leading a cross functional, remote team.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships internally and externally.
- A positive, approachable, and proactive personality.
- The ability to remain focused on commercial performance while respecting operational constraints and brand guidelines.
- Strong alignment with the tone and communication style of the Jellycat brand.
- Strategic and hands-on leader who inspires trust and delivers results.
- A passion about premium retail and deeply aligned with the Jellycat brand.
- An agile, adaptable mindset and comfortable making decisions in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- A collaborative and approachable outlook, with a talent for motivating teams and building strong relationships internally and externally.
- A highly organised, detail-focused mindset and skilled at balancing multiple priorities.
- The ability to be comfortable constructively challenging assumptions and open to feedback.
