As we continue to grow our footprint, we are looking for an Assistant Key Account Manager to join our growing US team to help support the growth of important key accounts, specifically Nordstrom. Working closely with the Key Account Manager – Nordstrom, the main focus of this role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with Nordstrom corporate team members. This role involves coordinating internal resources, selling to and in partnership with the Key Account Manager, assisting in sales planning, management of account needs and details to ensure smooth delivery to our customers.
Our goal is to become the number one go-to leading soft toy brand for all ages globally. You will work incredibly closely and collaboratively with our Key Account Team as we embark on growing Jellycat.

You'll be:
Responsible for Nordstrom as the first point of contact for sales-related conversations.
Assisting in the development and execution of account plans and strategies for key accounts.
Tracking sales targets and reporting on performance metrics.
Liaising with internal departments (marketing, operations, finance) to ensure client needs are met efficiently.
Preparing presentations, proposals, and reports for client meetings.
Frequently visiting customers to ensure high execution of brand guidelines and brand-appropriate merchandising.
Driving overall business development and growth with Nordstrom.
Prospecting new opportunities for luxury placement within Nordstrom.
Managing order frequency, product availability, and curated assortments.
Ensuring delivery of annual sales budget and profitability.
Responding to all communication internally and externally in a timely manner.
Maintaining communication including weekly internal meetings, plus regular virtual meetings and product reviews.
Providing clear and regular updates to the internal team.
Assimilating to the Jellycat way of working in terms of tone and communication.
Taking ownership, working independently, while also being good at taking direction.
You'll have:
2-3 years of experience in sales or key account management.
Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability in crafting and presenting presentations, both internally and externally.
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
Personable and positive mindset and approach .
Ability to remain focused on maximizing sales through professional relationships while understanding and respecting business limitations and brand guidelines.
Intuitive, imaginative & open-minded mindset
